Silikophen AC 1000 silicone resin is a methyl silicone-based product designed for coatings with high color stability at high temperatures on large industrial objects, without solvents.
This product has heat resistance up to 650°C, suitable for pipes or industrial plants, as well as for chimneys in the private sector. Its main application is thermoset corrosion protection. Silikophen AC 1000 stands out for its ability to cur at room temperature, unlike other coatings of this type that require curing at high temperatures, limiting its range of application.
Due to the low viscosity of the resin, solvent-free formulations can be easily realized. It has a very high inorganic content and a very low VOC content. It does not produce benzene during the heating phase or during continuous operation.
