"In addition, corporate volunteering generates a positive impact among employees who increasingly join the different days."

Last Thursday, August 29, 14 collaborators of these companies were part of the volunteer "Vamos Colombia" led by the ANDI Foundation that took place in the municipality of Apartadó in Antioquia, the volunteers developed tasks of beautification of community spaces through the painting and planting of gardens, support in productive projects and work in orchards and reforestation.

The donation coordinated by the Pintuco Foundation was 106 gallons of paint, used in the school and in the ancestral house of Puerto Girón, one of the corregimientos intervened. The contribution in pesos was equivalent to 10 million pesos.

"This is an initiative that motivates me since in a certain way we can contribute to the improvement of the region and support certain people who need it, it is gratifying not only to paint or do another type of work, but to know the community and its stories, volunteering is a passion for me" says Yolima Berdugo, Administrative Coordinator of Mundial, who for 6 years has participated in the volunteering carried out by the Orbis Group.

Sebastián Puerta, Transport Analyst at Pintuco, and who has been a volunteer for nearly nine years, points out "Volunteering is the opportunity to share with people who have lived experiences different from mine, to know other realities. In addition, it makes me happy to be able to make people happy, it is my way of thanking what I have, my home, my health, my possibilities, it is the opportunity to give back to the world, to God, to others to Nature, everything they give me"

On December 5, 2017, within the framework of the awards of the "Heroes Like You" awards, Pintuco was recognized by the Mayor's Office of Medellín as one of the three companies in the city that carry out activities related to exercise or the promotion of social volunteering.
