Palomar Blue 15 248-4848 is a high-strength phthalocyanin blue pigment developed specifically for automotive OEM applications.
Designed to have a highly desirable neutral color in metal coatings, this pigment is non-flocculant, non-crystallizing and has excellent rheological and light resistance characteristics. Patented technology allows formulators to replace the removed Blue 15:1 pigments.
The Palomar pigment line capitalizes on the transparency and travel of Sun Chemical's PB 60. You can expand the color gamut or reduce your cost with mixtures that use phthalocyanin. Chlorinated phthalocyanins also support the expansion of color space and the ability to achieve solidity and chemical resistance.
