Brazil. The 21st International Corrosion Congress and the 8th International Corrosion Meeting will be held from May 10 to 14, 2020, at USP's International Broadcasting Center in São Paulo.
The ICC is considered one of the largest corrosistas meetings in the world and this is the second time it has been held in Latin America. In 1978, Abraco (Brazilian Corrosion Association) held it in Rio de Janeiro. This year, together with the ICC, the Association will celebrate its traditional Intercorr, the most representative corrosion prevention event in the country, and it will be an excellent opportunity to be in contact with the global corrosion community and its greatest masters.
The event will have a program specially prepared for its congressmen, which includes the dissemination of technical-scientific works from all continents. It will also be a reference for the development of the industrial sector and a forum for the presentation of new technologies, brands, business opportunities, network expansion and knowledge.
As has traditionally been the case, two prizes have been awarded: the Professor Vicente Gentil Award for the best oral presentation and the Excellence Award for the best poster presentation.
The 2020 edition of Intercorr will also make sure to bring its participants the 22nd Corrosion and Degradation Photo Contest. In addition, inspectors will have a day dedicated to their subjects at the 3rd Conbrascorr for paint inspectors.
