Globic 7000 is a new antifouling coating for all types of vessels with a biocide mixture to protect against hard and soft scale, ensuring a uniform and effective release of biocides, and a clean hull throughout the time the ship is in dry dock.
This product enables significant fuel economy and protection for up to 60 months in extensive operating conditions including periods of slow steam and prolonged inactivity. The high-volume solids in the coating make it can be applied more quickly to reduce costs while the ship is in dry dock.
The product has improved operational flexibility and a speed loss of 4.5%, and reduction in associated emissions. Hempel's patented nano acrylate technology provides a fine-polishing control mechanism to bring integral biocides to the surface at a stable rate to ensure a clean hull throughout the service life and also incorporates patented microfibers that provide greater mechanical strength.
