The new Hycar NH3069 is a flame retardant product designed to offer excellent performance, without the use of additives or halogenated materials, providing flame resistance to cellulose-derived products, a powerful protection technology for paper, cotton, rayon, glass and mixed fiber applications.
In addition to its flame retardant benefits, Hycar NH3069 offers excellent mechanical performance and greater clarity compared to particle coatings. Its inherent thermal stability during processing provides improved color compared to halogenated polymers.
With fewer additives required, less mixing, fewer chemical inventories and faster cleaning are possible, resulting in higher manufacturing productivity. It can be applied using different techniques, including blade coatings (J-box), immersion and compression (filling), foam, gravure, screen printing and rod coating.
