Antimicrobial paint additives have been shown to prevent the growth of bacteria and biofilm for ten years, as well as offer continuous protection against black mold and algae, and are compatible for any type of coating, including paints, powder and liquid coatings, and lacquers.
This product can be mixed as a liquid in the top layer of the coating, promotes steel adhesion, and has passed industry-specific testing protocols, including TBend, cross-adhesion, and impact testing. It also has no adverse effect on physical properties and does not require processing changes.
In many cases you only need to mix the additive in the paint to achieve an antimicrobial effect. They are also available for gel and liquid coatings, used in pool coatings , automotive leathers , and HVAC applications.
