The new Hempafire Pro 315 passive fire protection (PFP) coating is developed to maintain the stability of steel structures for up to 60 minutes in the event of a fire, as well as protecting them from daily wear in harsh weather.
This product, used in complex buildings such as the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, requires exceptionally low loads and dries quickly, saving time as costs during construction and through routine maintenance.
Hempafire Pro 315 is optimized to offer up to 60 minutes of cellulosic fire protection and provides some additional protection for up to 90 minutes. It can be used for all types of steel profiles, from thin hollow tubes to large, open columns and beams.
It can also be applied up to 1,600 microns in a single layer, which means that almost all steel sections can be covered with a single layer of intumescent coating. It is available in two versions, standard and quick dry, leaving a soft white finish.
