Hexion's EPI-REZ 7720-W-50 resin is its latest high-performance solid epoxy dispersion that, when combined with the brand's Epikure 6870-W-53 curing agent, offers performance comparable to solvent-based systems with less than 50 grams per liter of VOC.
This new product offers superior product stability and wider formulation latitude due to its ultra-low VOC content, providing superior adhesion to concrete or metal, corrosion resistance, faster drying and longer storage life.
These primer, high-gloss, semi-gloss epoxy formulations are suitable for the protection of concrete or masonry, as well as a variety of metal substrates.
Suggested applications include concrete coatings for floors and walls, for metal, for agricultural and construction equipment, for vehicles such as trucks, buses or railways and coatings for metal parts and accessories of automobiles.
