Brazil. Abrafati's Board of Directors and Control Council were recently elected for the 2016-2018 biennium. The new directors began their terms after the election.
In this management, the Board of Directors is chaired by Freddy Carrillo, President of Sherwin-Williams in Brazil. Marcos Allemann (BASF's Vice President of Decorative Paintings for South America) and Marcelo Cenacchi (Managing Director of Renner Sayerlack) occupy respectively the 1st and 2nd position of the Vice-Presidents.
The Executive Presidency of ABRAFATI is held by Dilson Ferreira. In his possession, Freddy Carrillo announced that he will continue the successful actions taken by Abrafati in recent years, which have made great strides in the management of his predecessor in the presidency of the Governing Council, Antonio Carlos Lacerda. At the same time, it seeks to open new fronts that give results from the point of view of the sustainable development of the sector.
"My commitment is to work for the common good of the industry. We will work on the pursuit of the resumption of market growth and on strengthening the value added in our products," he said.
