For the second consecutive year, Cubrecol Americas has allocated one of its thematic axes to work on issues related to automotive repainting, a segment that covers about 70% of the vehicle paint market in Latin America.
On this occasion, and with the help of the Center for Experimentation in Road Safety, Cesvi Mexico, Cubrecol Americas will offer a series of conferences aimed at the technical staff of vehicle repair workshops. It should be noted that Cesvi is the only entity dedicated to research and training in repair and claims in Mexico, and with more than 12 years of experience has become a point of reference for assembly plants, paint manufacturers, tools and equipment, as well as for distributors and repair shops, without forgetting public and private institutions.
In total there will be three conferences in which topics related to the performance of the paint in the application process, the finishes for vehicles (color and gloss), and the techniques to avoid the most recurrent failures in the repainting will be addressed.
Rubén Moreno will be in charge of exposing the themes. For this he relies on his vast experience, which includes the head of the painting department of the Center, from where he taught courses for automotive repair shops. Moreno is currently in charge of coordinating the activities of the bodywork, painting, electromechanics and motorcycle departments of Cesvi Mexico.
"Cubrecol is a very interesting event, we heard about it before they invited us to participate and since then we found it very important. From Inpra Latina we have known the themes that we have even used as material in some of the talks offered in Mexico"
