DeFelsko Corporation's PosiTector UTG Ultrasonic Thickness Meter has just been redesigned and includes new features and a new model. Currently available in Standard and ME-Thru Paint models, the UTG PosiTector is ideal for measuring the wall thickness of materials such as steel, plastic and others.  The PosiTector UTG Std is ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion on tanks, pipes or any structure where access is limited and features a Scan Mode for inspection over a large area.  In new PosiTector UTG ME presents the Thru-Paint ability to measure the thickness of the metal of a painted structure without having to remove the coating.
