Colombia. Within the framework of the business reorganization procedure requested before the Superintendence of Companies, Pinturas Bler asked to negotiate emergency with its creditors.
This was reported by the firm Valora Analitik, which indicates that the negotiation process will last three months. According to this, as of January 31, Pinturas Bler had assets of 62,738 million pesos and liabilities in the order of $37,243 million.
Of the latter, it has overdue obligations for more than 90 days for Ch$6,459 million, representing 17.34% of liabilities.
On February 28, the company presented a business plan to the Supersociedad, contemplating financial restructuring.
Before the beginning of the emergency negotiation, the Supersociedades notified the organization that it cannot make disposals that are not included in the course of its business. Nor can it adopt statutory reforms.
Pinturas Bler has more than 40 years of history in Colombia. It was founded in 1980, under the Pintubler brand. That year, the anticorrosive Bler, the company's first industrial product, was put on sale.
For its journey, in 2014 Pinturas Bler received the Colombian Award for Quality in Management, from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
